Interactive drumming is the oldest form of team building; ancient tribes and villages have been participating in communal drumming for centuries. Drum Cafe started corporate drumming in Johannesburg, South Africa at the end of the era of apartheid. It was at a time when a country, so deeply divided for generations, with over a dozen different languages, needed to find a way to come together.
