Programs.
When a program has been booked, the machinary kicks in to gear until all the cogs are in place.You will be contacted by our logistics deparment to double check that all the relevant informatjon is correct. You will then be set a pre consultation form which will be divided into two parts.

We set up our team, and prepare ourselves prior to the client filtering into the room/area. We are dressed in bright, colorful uniforms – usually 5-8 team members on stage. When the client is on their way to the room where the Drum Café program is held, the Drum Café team begins playing – something we refer to as ‘Drum Call’ – which welcomes them – much to the audience surprise – to the main event. They hear the drums calling from inside the conference or meeting hall as they approach, when the group begins to walk in, they cannot believe their eyes as they see each chair being occupied by their own African drum!
The Drum Café team fills the room with powerful music. Slowly, people find their way to their seats, all staring at each other with faces now wearing curious smiles because they don’t really know how to deal with the drum that now sits in their lap!
Sometimes tentatively and other times immediately, the individuality of the participants comes out as some attack the drum with fervor and others tap away lightly with a certain reservation and wonder. One may even get carried away with the growing energy in the room and jump into the middle of the circle for a quick dance to the wild applause of his peers.
Then, without saying a word, the Drum Cafe facilitator gets up and starts to orchestrate the group with a massive repertoire of body language and signals , bringing the entry level musicians into perfect harmony.
This is the beginning of the magic of a Drum Café event.
